OTTO PAUL JANOS

September 1, 1926 — December 10, 2022

Otto Paul Janos passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 10, 2022. Otto was born in Cleveland, Ohio in September of 1926.

He joined the navy right out of high school towards the end of WW2. After being honorably discharged, he became an electrician at Ford Motor Company and worked there for the next 35 years before retiring in 1988. Otto married the love of his life, Lois Marie Garvey, on April 18, 1953. Their four children are Paul, Patricia (Jim Huston), James (Darla), and Ellen (David Orr). Their grandchildren are James Huston (Ali), Bethany McKinney (Lee), Brianna Greene (Zack), Brian Orr (Augusstda), Andrea Clague (Adam), Rebecca Sires (Bo), Elizabeth Fry (Jonathan), and Aaron Orr (Emma). They also have 13 great-grandchildren. Otto will be greatly missed by his loving wife and family.

Please join the family for a memorial visitation on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd (Corner of Rt. 18 & River Styx), with a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Inurnment will take place on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, Ohio.
