Pascual Rivera Calvillo, age 86, of Brunswick, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Falling Water Nursing Home, Strongsville.
He was born on October 23, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Canuto and Agnes (nee Garcia) Calvillo.
Pascual enjoyed soccer, where he was a star goalie for 40 years, where he was a player and a manager. Loved his Mariachi music, he and his wife Marie were very social and enjoyed dancing.
Pascual was employed as a scarfer for 40 years at LTV Steel, retiring in 1993.
He is survived by his dear children, Pascual Jr. Calvillo, Maria Calvillo, Jackie (Jerold) Halloran, Michael Calvillo and Michelle (John) Dickerson; cherished grandchildren, Jessica (Eugene) Makowski, Kristin Halloran, Candace Halloran, Corey Halloran, Ashley (Jon) Burke; and dear brother, Angelo Calvillo.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie in 1998; grandson, Jerald Halloran; siblings, Julia Calvillo, Esperanza Calvillo, Salvatore Calvillo, Mary Calvillo, George Calvillo and Jennie Calvillo.
The family will receive friends for visitation for Pascual on Monday, January 20, 2020, from 10 am until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark. Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick were entrusted to handle the arrangements.
