Patricia Vaughn Mugno (nee Hartman), 86, of Medina, Ohio died peacefully on June 17th, 2018, at The Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, Ohio. She was born December 10th, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Patricia loved gardening, music of all kinds, reading, debating politics and baking and cooking for her family.
Patricia is predeceased by her parents, Dr. Vaughn L. and Williamina R. Hartman of Medina, Ohio, and her beloved daughter Julie Ann (Mugno) Kortan, of Hinckley, Ohio.
Survivors include her beloved daughters, Denise Walsh of Medina, and Donna Navarino of Lenox, Massachusetts; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Private services and burial were held at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina, Ohio. Memorial donations may be made in Patricia's name to the Hospice of Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44110-2602 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 or online at www.stjude.org/donate .
The family wishes to extend their extreme gratitude to the Ames Family Hospice House for their support in her final days. Everything from the beautiful surroundings, the music, the fresh flowers in her room and the love, caring, compassion and kindness shown by all the caretakers and staff helped to make her last days peaceful and dignified. We will be eternally grateful. All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd. (corner of River Styx & Rte 18) Medina, Ohio 44256.
