PATRICIA "PAT" KERNS

Patricia “Pat” Kerns, age 80 of Medina, passed away peacefully on October 8th, 2024.

Patricia was born on July 29th, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio to Denba and Eileen (Rasing) Behner. In high school she loved playing the tuba for the Brunswick High School Marching Band. She then attended Bowling Green and Case Western Reserve where she earned her Master’s Degree in Health Science. Pat then retired as a Pulmonologist and the Director of Pulmonary Respiratory for Meridia Health in Cleveland, Ohio. She was an avid traveler and loved camping in her RV to places from Alaska, to Oregon, all the way down to Arizona. Pat was also a proud member of the Red Hat Society, the Dingbats, The Lady Campers, and the NRA. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids. In her spare time, she could be found making beautiful jewelry. 

Patricia now joins her parents, and siblings Connie (Mellott) and Roy Bahner. Also, her loving husband, Raymond Kerns.

Pat will be deeply missed by her daughter Frances (Doug) Kitko, grandchildren Mike (Shelby) and Kelly (Michael) Kitko, brother Raymond (Diane) Bahner, and great grandchildren Raelynn and Atley. 

Friends and family may come to call on Tuesday October 15, 2024 from 11-1 at Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens at 2869 Grafton Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212.
