PAUL EVERETTE FITZGERALD

Paul Everette Fitzgerald, 74, of Windham, passed away on Sunday, August 16, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 12, 1941 to Paul and Beatie (Young) Fitzgerald.
Paul was proud to have served his country in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam. Paul was a member of the American Legion Post #674 in Windham and Ripley, WV VFW. He was an accomplished gardener who grew a world record beet. Paul loved to spend time with his beloved family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Rebecca (Jim) Klima of Parkman, Paul Fitzgerald of Windham and Wayne (Melissa) Fitzgerald of Nelson; brother Robert Fitzgerald of Marietta; sister, Marie (Jim) Sterling of Charleston, WV; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Melvin and Troy Fitzgerald.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 19 from 5-8 pm at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 20 at 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial to follow services at Windham Township Cemetery with full military honors.
