Paul M. Hockman

Photo: Obituary: Paul M. Hockman, 69 of Garrettsville, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 30, 2012 and is resting in the arms of our Lord. He was born September 24, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to Milton and June (Hazlett) Hockman. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Navy. Paul was an extrusion operator, retiring from Furon in Mantua. He was a member of Spur Cross Cowboy Church in Arizona. Paul cherished Bible study with his friend and Chaplin Gary Pryor and his wife Barb. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, cutting grass on his John Deere tractor, bantering with his mother-in-law Wanda, and spending time with his beloved family and friends. Paul is survived by his wife Doloris ( Pawel-Friede) at the home in Garrettsville; her children Loralee Pawel of Newbury, Dave ( Kim ) Pawel Jr. of Arizona; his children Deborah ( Mike ) Waxler of Montville, Sean Hockman of Pennsylvania, Bruce ( Treadenne ) Hoag of Southington, and Shannon Hockman of New Jersey; grandchildren Morgan ( Nick ) Lee of Florida, Avonlea Wensel of Nelson, Hannah Bucholtz of Hiram, Larry, Danielle, Rheannon, and Mikey Waxler of Montville, Justin and Dara-Lynn Hockman of Pennsylvania; great grand children Kahlen and Abby; mother-in-law Wanda Friede of Freedom; niece Deanna of Montville; and nephew Jeffrey of Montville. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; sister Judith Peake; and his niece Teresa. Cremation has taken place.
