Paul Kulbaga, age 87, of Hinckley, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015. He was born in Cleveland on December 20, 1927 to Wendell and Susan (nee Kushner) Kulbaga.
He is survived by his sons, Paul (Paula), John (Barbara), Gary (Cheryl), Mark (Amy); grandchildren, Rebecca (Scott) Olsen, Theresa, Christina, Jacklyn, Paul (Christina), Mallory, Jake; great grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Michaela, and Christopher.
Paul was a legendary bowling champion and is an inductee of the Cleveland and State of Ohio Bowlers Hall of Fame. He also holds a record in The Guinness Book of World Records for his ABC bowling accomplishments. Paul served in the United States Army as a radio operator in WWII. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 35 years, Patricia (nee Query); and his brothers and sisters.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, OH 44212. A luncheon reception will follow Mass in the St. Ambrose Mother Theresa Room. Inurnment will be Monday, March 9th at 12:00 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland. Please meet at Brookpark entrance gate.
