Paul H. Schueller, age 94, of Brunswick, died on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Plum Creek Assisted Living, Brunswick, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on January 21, 1925 in Clarion, Iowa to the late Joseph and Pearl Schueller. Paul had moved to Northeast Ohio in 1960.
After high school he served in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific Fleet.
He was a proud manufacturing shoe sales representative for most of his working life, retiring in 1992. Paul was an avid golfer up until his 80’s. He loved spending time with his family, friends and dog Toby.
Paul is survived by his loving children, David (Lee) Schueller, Kirk (Kathy) Schueller, Nancy (Chris) Guinta; dear grandchildren, Christopher (Jen) Schueller, Stephanie Lichtenberg, Lindsey (Eric) Larson, Joe (Elaine) Schueller, Maggie Guinta, Daniel Guinta and Sam (Kara) Guinta, cherished great grandchildren, Adam, Simon, Nathan, Colette, Olivia, Will, Abby, Alex, Ella and Rose.
He was preceded in death by his dear wife of 60 years, Rose M. (nee Hilton) Schueller.
A Mass for Paul will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 10:00 am. at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Valley City. (MEET AT CHURCH). Rev. Rob Ramser will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, were entrusted to handle the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in Paul’s memory be made to the American Legion, Post #234, PO Box 972, Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
