PAUL SIMPSON JR.

Paul Simpson Jr., age 64, of West Salem, formerly of Brunswick, Ohio, passed quietly on July 19, 2015, after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer. Paul was born January 24, 1951 in Medina, Ohio and graduated from Brunswick High School in 1969. Paul was a lifelong entrepreneur and accomplished artist. He enjoyed vintage cars, fishing, long drives, and picnics in the park. He loved people, life, and helping others with his words of wisdom. He will be missed by many.

Paul is survived by his wife, Loreen S. (nee Wright); man’s best friends, Lucy and Buster; daughters, Paula M. and Loreen M; son, Paul A. III (Tricia) Simpson. Paul was blessed with seven grandchildren, Alyssa, Morgan, Michael Jr., Paul IV, Grace, Rocky, and James Cika III; grand puppy, Harry; sister, Linda Garens; brothers, Charles (Michelle) Simpson, Joseph Gudlin; and many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his son, Michael P; parents, Ruth and Paul; brother, Bertram; sisters, Pauline Payne, Jeanne Haessly, and Joan (nee Gudlin) Blass.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 4 to 7 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
