MR PAUL DAVID STEPP
April 13, 1947 — May 2, 2020
Paul David Stepp, age 73, of Medina, passed away on May 2, 2020. He was born on April 13, 1947 in Cleveland, OH to the late Frank and Mildred (nee Piorkowski) Stepp.
Paul served his country in the Army during Vietnam receiving several decorations, including a Vietman Service Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars and a Bronze Star Medal with First Oak Leaf Cluster. He enjoyed planting and gardening around the house. He loved to travel including camping and fishing trips to Canada and the occasional trip to the Casino. Paul was selfless in his service to his country and his gifts to charity including but not limited to, St. Jude's.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Rene Benton (David) and Paul K. Stepp (Jenn Sacco); his siblings, John Stepp (Sandy) and Marilyn Skiba (Marty); and his sister-in-law Helen Stepp.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph E. Stepp; and his brother, Frank C. Stepp.
Private family services will be held with interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. A Public Memorial Ceremony with Military Honors will be held at the National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s name to the Fisher House, 10521 Lee Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106 or VFW Post #5137, 3916 Pearl Rd., Medina, OH 44156.
