PEARL REISING

Pearl “Pat” Reising (nee Ganger), age 90, of Brunswick, passed away on March 1, 2018. She was born on June 23, 1927, in Goff, PA, to the late James and Pearl (nee Chalkwater) Ganger. Pearl was married to her beloved husband, Herbert E. Reising, for 58 years.

Pearl was a Registered Nurse, a member of the Women’s Guild, and a Founder of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She enjoyed Hungarian cooking, dancing, the Brunswick Entertainment Co., singing in her earlier years, and her casinos. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her loving children, Darlyne (Judith Moreland) Reising of Oregon, Lynda Nossaman of Brunswick, Irene (James) Sexton of Brunswick, Susan (Michael) Shannon of Georgia, and Herbert (Jessica) Reising of Medina; grandchildren, Joshua (Katy) Nossaman, Torey (Dennis) Downey, Teresa Adams, Danielle Sexton, Michael (Jen) Shannon, Paige (Matt) Picard, Hayley Shannon, Herbert and Everett Reising; and great-grandchildren, Emmit, Olive, Averie, Cameron, Justin, Emilie, Lily, Abigail, Michael, Violet and Eden; and was a special aunt to Margie, Jim, and Mike.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Julius and James Ganger.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, March 5, 2018, from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 10 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. There will be a visitation one hour prior to Mass at 9 AM (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick.
