Peggy A. Howell (nee Hall), 86, of Medina, Ohio, passed away July 2, 2024 after a lengthy illness. She was born in 1938 in Diana, West Virginia, to William Paul Hall and Iva May (Eubank) Hall, both deceased.
Peggy was a long-time Medina resident and worked as a printer apprentice for 33 years at Gowe Printing and American Color Graphics, and later worked for Hilton Hotels in guest services. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and watching Cleveland Guardians games. She regularly attended online church services of Liberty Baptist Fellowship in Medina and First Baptist Church of Lanette, Alabama. She was admired by many for her work ethic and many kindnesses to those in need.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother Dale (Jeannette) Hall; children Randall (Jennifer) Howell, Teresa (Phillip) Langley, Philip (Jackie) Howell, Matthew (Julie) Howell, and Leasa Novak; grandchildren Jamie, Michelle, Alexander, Gabrielle, Fred (Megan), and Madelyn; and great-grandchildren Richard, Caitlyn, and Phillip James. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and other extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert P. Howell, grandson Phillip B. Howell, sisters Elladene, Augustine, Norma Jean, and Carolyn, and brother William Jr.
Graveside services and burial will be at Cool Springs Cemetery in Diana, West Virginia on Saturday, July 6, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations be made to Cups Café in Medina. Care for Peggy was entrusted to Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Medina, OH.
