PETER MCLEAN LOWRIE

Peter McLean Lowrie, age 83, of Montville Township, Medina, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017. He was born on November 25, 1934 to Christian and Janet Lowrie in Scotland.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Peter was a member of The Robertson Fellowcraft Team of Masons. After Peter’s retirement, his personal wish was fulfilled. He had sailed around the world to many exotic places on cargo ships. Peter treated everyone as a friend.

He is survived by his beloved wife Claudia; sons, Peter (Carla), Donald (Tatiana); daughter Karen (Bill) Florek; grandchildren, Lindsay (Kenneth), Peter, Nicole, Alyssa, Melanie, Davia; great-grandchildren, Kenny, Colton, Bentley, Griffin and his sister Rhona (Leonard) Roth. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Nettie, Margaret, Christine and May.

Friends may join the family for Visitation on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Service at 8 PM. Masonic Service at 7 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of Rt. 18 and River Styx Road), Medina, OH 44256. Interment of cremains will be scheduled in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery and will be private for the family.
