PHILLIP J. PORINCHOK

Phillip J. Porinchok, Sr., age 70, of Medina, passed away December 10, 2017. He was born August 23, 1947 in Cleveland to the late John and Johanna (nee Urcic) Porinchok.
Phillip was employed at LTV Steel for 35 years, a parishioner at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, and a History Channel fan. He treasured his family and friends, and lived for his grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Maryann Porinchok; children, Donna (Ron) Eichelberger, Jackie (Jason) Hemsley, Phillip Jr.; grandchildren, Christopher, Emily, Blake, Dalton; brothers, John (Corky), Joe (Diane), Bob (Rose); in-laws, Bill Malcolm, Diane Porinchok, Nancy Porinchok, and Cindy Cogar.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike and Tom; and sister, Joan Malcolm.
Friends may join the family for visitation Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11:00 am at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 3100 Weymouth Rd, Medina, OH 44256. There will be a visitation one hour prior to Mass from 10 to 11 am. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at St Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Medina, OH.
