Phyllis Mae France

Phyllis Mae France (Christensen), 84, went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2011, in Medina Ohio. A sweetheart of a woman, Phyllis was beloved by all who met her. She was kind to, and loved all people, most of all, her family. Phyllis was born in South Dakota to Danish immigrants. She moved to CA as a teen, where she later met her husband of nearly 60 years, Bob. Phyllis and Bob owned their own business in California, and after retiring, moved to Ohio to live closer to their daughter, Andrea. Phyllis was a devout Christian, and loved the Lord. She was active in politics, and loved her country. She loved and was devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bob, her parents, and many siblings. Surviving are her son Bob France of Redlands CA, daughter-in-law Carol of Redlands CA, granddaughter Stephanie of Redlands (6th grade teacher at New Vision Middle School, Redlands), granddaughter and grandson-in-law Krissy and Kenny Warren (Speech Language Pathologist at Children’s Hospital of Orange County). She also leaves behind her devoted daughter and son-in-law Andrea (France) and Rick Bonesteel of Medina OH, step-granddaughters Jessica, Elizabeth, Katherine, and Alexandra Bonesteel. Phyllis is at peace, now at her husband’s side once again. Christian Burial Services will be held this month in California. There will be no visitation or service at this time. Phyllis will be put to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Santa Monica, CA. Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Road Medina, Ohio were entrusted with the arrangements.
