Ralph E Hapney Sr., 88 years young, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021. He was born June 15, 1933, in Clay County, West Virginia to Glen and Lydia (Nicholson) Hapney
He loved playing his bass guitar and spending time with his family. Ralph started working in West Virginia Coal Mines and later going to work for Chevrolet, retiring after working 33 years with the company. He was a long-time member of the UAW 1005.
Ralph will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 67 years, Nadine; son, Ralph Jr. (Sharon), Terry, Mike, and Greg (June); grandchildren, Shawn, Ryan, Megan (fiancé, Jon Gravenstreter), Robert, Tyler, Shayne, and Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Michaela and Gavin; sisters, Florence (Jerry) Wetzel, Patricia (David) Lods, and Edith (Chuck) Depp; brothers, John (Linda) and Eddie.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his son, Robert; brothers, Bernard, William, and Mike.
Please join the family for visitation on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd. (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick. Family will receive friends one prior to funeral services, service will be Monday, November 22, 2021, at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by Reverend Jay Carroll. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick at 1:00 PM.
