Ralph Cline Lovejoy, age 79 has gone fishing November 12, 2024. He was born to Carmella and Romie Lovejoy on November 20, 1944, in Nitro, West Virginia.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather (Peepaw,) and friend. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to relax by playing baseball on his Nintendo. Ralph was always a “do it my way” type of man, however, one of his best traits was he always made sure to take care of his family.

Ralph was a Marine Corp veteran. He was a hard worker and always stood up for the working man. He worked for Local 507 Teamsters and was a Union Stewart. He retired early and spent his lengthy retirement doing all the things he loved to do. His family will always remember the long road trips where they would listen to the oldies music he loved, country music being his favorite. He adored his great grandson Grayson and was never happier than the day he was born.

He is preceded in death by his parent, brother, Donnie Lovejoy, and sister, Mildred Lovejoy.

Ralph was the beloved husband of 58 years to Ann, adoring father to Toni, an amazing grandfather to Jesse, doting great grandfather of Grayson, and brother of Paul Lovejoy.

Ralph is now with his loved ones in heaven but will be missed by his loved ones he left behind.

Rest in peace to a true role model. It is never goodbye, it’s see you later.

Care for Ralph is entrusted to Carlson Funeral Home, Brunswick.
