Randall Forrest Stone, 61, of Mantua, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts. He was born September 3, 1952 in West Virginia to Forrest Lynn and Goldie (Adkins) Stone.
Randall was a certified diesel mechanic. He never rested long enough for his hands to be idle. He was an excellent cook and baker, known for his ribs and peanut butter cookies. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Randall is survived by his devoted wife, Rebecca (Dvorak) Stone of Mantua, son, Erick Stone of Mantua, daughter, Brandi Rae Stone of Virginia; sisters, Deborah (Charles) Smith of Palmyra, two grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his best friend, “Buddy” his beloved dog.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael and sisters, Lynn and Cheryl.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231.
