RAUL "TIO" "PAPA" ESTREMERA

Raul “Tio” “Papa” Estremera, 72 of Brunswick, passed away unexpectedly November 19, 2010. He was born August 3, 1938 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Jose Antonio and Carmen (nee Arce) Estremera.

Raul married Verlene in 1975 and shared 35 years together. He enjoyed yard and gardening, building birdhouses, playing the guitar, loved dancing, made all those around him smile. He was proud of his heritage and dearly loved his family.

He is survived by his wife Verlene; children Raul David (Tracey) Estremera of Brunswick, Liduina (Randy) Harbert of Brunswick, Robert (Sandra) Estremera of Medina, Michael Estremera of Medina, Ricky Stewart of Parma, Ronald L. Stewart of Florida, Pamela (Jim) Duyrea of Atlanta and Leah Stewart of Brunswick; siblings Enrique (Andrea) Estremera of Cleveland, Francisco “Paco” (Annie) Estremera of Puerto Rico, Blanca Estremera of Milwaukee, Juanita (Len) Aleman of Milwaukee, Sara (Chilo) Hernandez of Milwaukee, Liduina Sosa of Milwaukee and Abraham “Papo” (Pura) Estremera of Puerto Rico; grandchildren Kimberly (Ryan fiancé) of Brunswick, Kelley (Todd) of Bowling Green, Nicole of Brunswick, Samantha of Brunswick, Kristen, Stephanie of Brunswick, Jeff of Berea, Nathan of Brunswick, Crissy of Brunswick, Jessica (John) of Medina, April of Medina, Shannon of Medina, Brett of Medina, Randy of Brunswick, Brandon of Medina, Nicholas of Medina, Cheryl (Rob) of Cleveland, Karley of Brookpark, Stuart of Atlanta and Kayla of Brunswick; great grandchildren McKayla, Ryan, Teagan, Jacob, Christian, Hayley, Andrew and Allysa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jose Antonio Estremera.

Memorial visitation will be held Monday, November 22, 2010 from 3 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Rt. 303) Brunswick, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on November 23, 2010 at 9:30 AM, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio. PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICE.
