Ray McClellan, 85 of Brunswick went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 9, 2010 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was born March 16, 1925 in Branchland, West Virginia to Marion and Eliza (nee Colgrove) McClellan and worked on the assembly line for Chevrolet before retiring after 32 years of service.
He was a United States Army veteran serving in WWII and a member of the UAW #1005.
Mr. McClellan is survived by his wife Elise (nee Desch) McClellan; children Janny (Gene) Osler, Kathy (Richard) Josie, Ray (Lillian) McClellan, Mary Ann McClellan, and Donald (Birgit) McClellan; siblings Troy, Opel, Garnet, Ella, Pearl, Nancy, and Dorothy; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Raymond, Roy, Arvis, and Thelma.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. with Funeral Services being held at 7:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick.
