RAYMOND A. OLEXA SR.
June 27, 1961 — February 9, 2015
Raymond A. Olexa, Sr., age 53, passed away at home after a brave battle with cancer on February 9, 2015. He was born on June 27, 1961 to Andrew and Antoinette (nee Cooper) Olexa in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Ray married his beloved wife, Kellie (nee Horak) on July 5, 1997.
Ray was raised in Brunswick, Ohio and graduated from Brunswick High School in 1979. He proudly served in the United States Army as a sergeant for 6.5 years and had a career as a truck driver for 28 years.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Kellie; his sons; and many friends and loving family.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, and many loving aunts and uncles.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 am, also at the funeral home with a visitation one hour prior from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
