Reese Ann McClung (nee Mattox), age 88, of Brunswick, passed away on March 28, 2019. She was born on January 11,1931, in Affinity, WV, to George and Ollie (nee Penington) Mattox.
Reese retired from Fazios and the UFCW Local 880 with 30yrs of service. She was a member of the Brunswick Church of the Nazarene, where she attended since the 1950s; and VFW Post 9520 Ladies Auxiliary. Reese enjoyed attending church, walking, Bingo, and traveling by plane and motor home. She was actively involved in the Brunswick community for many years with her husband, Drew.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Judy (Harmon) Jarvis, Scot (Anni) McClung; brother, Don (Faye) Mattox; grandchildren, Richard (Jackie), Debbie, KelliAnn, Katie (Andre); great-grandchildren, Stephanie (Greg), Dylan, and Andrea; and her God daughter, Donna.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Drew; and siblings, Jack, Bob, Mabel, and Barbara.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held for Reese at the funeral home, on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at 11:00 AM. Pastor Donis Williams, officiating. There will be a one-hour visitation prior to service at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick, OH.
