Reid Charles Wiley, 28, of Akron, OH passed away December 29, 2020 to complications from Asthma, a condition he fought his entire life.
The son of Glenn and Mary Wiley, Reid was born September 3, 1992 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Having moved with his family to Ohio in 2000, Reid accepted the challenge and grew as an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Reid graduated from the University of Akron in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Planning and Services. He was also a member of the University of Akron Hockey team, a sport he enjoyed since the tender age of 4.
Reid was bigger than life in his personality and love for people. When Reid walked in a room it was game on. His smile was infectious and his personality lifted the room to a frenzy of fun.
He was caring, giving and supportive. He was fiercely loyal and was always there for anyone when they needed support. He never looked for accolades for his selfless acts of kindness. Reid was cherished by many, loved by all and remembered by everyone. Reid was an amazing son, brother, friend, teammate and man.
