Rita Korp-Kline, age 87, died on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Medina Hospital. Born to the late Andrew and Mary (nee Thomas) Dudas.
Rita and Ray Korp were founding members of St. Ambrose Church and Rita a founding and current member of the St. Ambrose Women’s Guild. She was a member of St. Teresa’s Little Flower Mission Circle. She worked at Fisher’s Big Wheel and was an avid Cleveland Sports Fan. Rita was well known for her baking skills, especially her pecan cups.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Cindy (Denzil) Young; son-in-law, Roy Grumbling; step-daughters, Christine Murphy and Kathryn (David) Crissman; grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Kristyn (Kevin) Henslee, Luke (Becca) Young, Melissa Grumbling, Amanda Grumbling, Christine Ratzer (Kathryn Howard), Matthew Ratzer, Sarah (Ken) Gleeson, Holly Morris, Alex Crissman and Peter (Kelsey) Crissman; twelve great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rita was preceded in death by her loving first husband, Raymond Korp; beloved second husband, Walter Kline; sister, Mary Lou Michalosky; and beloved daughter, Debbie Grumbling.
Family wishes to thank all who were involved with her care the past couple months.
Friends may gather on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile south of Route 303), Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Rita on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 923 Pearl Road, Brunswick, with visitation prior to Mass from 10–11 a.m. (Please meet at the church). Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
