ROBERT A. BUTLER

Robert A Butler, age 96, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023. He was born on May 12, 1927, to the late Edmund and Sarah (nee Horan) Butler in Cleveland.

He graduated from Lakewood High School in 1947. Robert was a retired tool and dye machinist.

Robert will be deeply missed by his son, Stephen J (Carrie) Butler; daughter, Jane A (Larry) Merchant; grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew (Nikki), Adrienne (Joe), Jennifer (Brad), and Joseph (Nichole); and 19 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Martha; and siblings, James Butler, Thomas Butler, Mary Ritz, and Marcella Butler.

The family is having visitation on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick, OH 44212. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Hope Memorial will follow at 2:00 p.m.
