ROBERT PAUL DAVID

Robert P. David, age 87, of Brunswick, passed away December 6, 2017. He was born on August 21, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Paul and Catherine (nee Vargo) David.

Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion Post 559 and Brunswick VFW Post 9520. He was an avid golfer and a charter member of the Hungarian-American Golf Association. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter, Dorothy Ann (Steven Woodard); grandsons, Adam and Jack; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary (nee Nagy); sisters, Helen Blasko, Irene Ward, Betty Gulya, Dorothy Ann; and in-laws; Imre and Emma Nagy.

Friends may join the family for visitation Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. There will be a visitation one hour prior to Mass at 10:00 am (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
