Robert Miller 85, of Medina passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at Hospice of Medina County at the Inn. Robert was born in Walnut Creek, Holmes County, Ohio to Vernon and Anna (nee Sneddon) Miller.
He served in the United States Navy during WWII aboard the USS Saratoga. Robert retired as a supervisor with H.W. Madison Company after 40 years, he continued working for 10 years at Westfield Golf Club.
Surviving include his loving wife of 64 years, Mildred (nee Elmerick), son Robert Paul (wife Paula) Miller, grandson Robert Myron (wife Erika) Miller.
There will be no visitation or service. Inurnment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with Military Honors on August 11, 2011 at 11AM. Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Rd. Medina was entrusted with the family’s wishes.
Contributions in Robert’s name may be made to Hospice of Medina County 797 N. Court St. Medina, Ohio 44256.
