Robert “Bob” E. Mishler, 95, of Garrettsville, OH, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024. He was born May 16, 1929, in Mantua, OH, to the late Warren and Martha Mishler.
In 1950, Bob was called to serve his country in the U.S. Army for two years during the Korean War, earning multiple service medals. He married Delma Walker in 1954 and the two shared 63 years of marriage before her passing in 2017. Bob was proud to have been involved in the creation of Sugar Bush Golf Club, where he loved to golf and went on to win many county tournaments. He was a member of the Garrettsville Historical Society, as was Delma, who before her death had been the driving force behind the Historical Society’s Garrettsville “Christmas Walk.”
