ROBERT L. MITCHELL

Robert L. Mitchell, age 83, of Strongsville, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Hospice of Southwest General. He was born on December 3, 1937 in Rices Landing, PA to the late Jess and Josephine (nee Shepler) Mitchell.
Robert was employed as a manager of distribution at Paramount Distillers (Luxco) for over 50 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, bird watching, car races, sports, and traveling.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (nee Griffin) Mitchell; children, Robert J. Mitchell, David (Jody) Mitchell, Michele (Ron) Foster; step children, Toland (Catherine) Wilkins and Korin (Jay) Reed; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Robert was proceeded in death by his first wife, Georgiana (nee Zak); sons, James T. and Dennis Mitchell; daughters, Georgiana Brainard and Valerie Agin; brothers, Paul Edward, John Jess and Davis James Mitchell; sister, Betty Long
The family will receive friends for Robert's Memorial Visitation on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick.
