ROBERT J. MORAN

Robert J. Moran, 81, of Nelson Twp., went home to his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. He was born March 11, 1942, in Warren, to the late Fred and Ann Moran.

He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Nantahala, and will be buried with military honors. Robert belonged to the Teamsters Local #92 during his many years of driving truck, and he enjoyed farming, taking care of his beef cattle, picnicking, and spending time with family.

Robert will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Angela (Fales) Moran, who was blessed to share 30 years of marriage; children, Robert Moran, Jr., Melissa (Jeremiah) Smith, Christopher (Shaunna) Brown, Nicholas (Lisa) Brown, and Randi (Jeffrey) Porcenaluk; grandchildren, Hannah Smith, Hailey Smith, Baily (Steven) Porcen, Connor Brown, Makenzie Brown, Braeden Brown, Jason Brown, Christian Brown, Jordon Porcenaluk, and Trent Porcenaluk, as well as great grandchildren, Jasper and Grayson Porcen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Linda, and daughter, Jennifer Jewell

Per Robert's wishes, he will be privately buried at Harrington Cemetery in Nelson Twp. Care for Robert was entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
