ROBERT PAUL OLIN

Robert P. Olin, age 77, of Seville OH, passed away on November 9, 2018. He was born on October 31, 1941 in Cleveland.
Robert was a Captain’s Yeoman in the Navy. He worked as a machinist for General Motors for 36 years until his retirement. He went on to cooking school and became a Chef for nursing homes and restaurants. Robert was a member of U.A.W. Local #1005 and Wadsworth’s American Legion #0170. He loved his Cleveland Browns.
He will be dearly remembered by his children, Alice (David) Namoski, Adam Olin, Rebecca Olin; siblings, Michaelene (David) Gentilli, Kenneth (Dawn) Matava; grandchildren Elizabeth and Jonathan Namoski; and many friends, namely his barley and hops crew.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother Betty.
Friends may join the family for Robert’s visitation on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 4 PM to 7:30 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A memorial service will be held for Robert following visitation at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. The family will hold a private inurnment at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
