Robert Allen Sackett, age 82 of Medina, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017.
He was born on November 26, 1934 to Dudley M. Sackett and Gladys E. (nee Whiteside).
Robert proudly served in the United States Navy. He and Joan (nee Chaloupka) were married on July 20, 1957. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Joan, son Robert (Cynthia) Sackett, daughters: Donna (William) Kuehn and Linda (Dominic) Peterre, grandchildren: Wendy (Jason) DeLoach, William Kuehn, Tyler Anne (James) Price, Dominic Peterre, Erica (Chris) Neuman and Lauren Sackett also his sister Eleanor Jones.
The family invites friends for the committal service on Monday, July 3, 2017 (Please meet at the cemetery entrance at 12:15 PM) for the 12:30 PM service at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman-Seville, Ohio 44273.
All arrangements were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256.
