Robert “Bob” M. Steinc Jr., age 66, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024. He was born on August 21, 1957, to the late Regina M. (nee Kish) and Robert M. Steinc Sr.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister-in-law Mary Hahn.

He leaves behind his loving partner and best friend, Shirley Paulovcin; his siblings, Ronald “Ron” (Donna) Steinc, Renee’ (Dave) Fichter; sister-in-law, Sue Hadley, brothers-in-law, Brent Hahn and Bill (Kathy) Paulovcin; nieces and nephews; Ronnie (Yvonne), Josh, Tyler, Noah, Jason (Brittany), Mindy (Alex), Lydia, Brent, Ben (Megan), Braden, Hannah, Haley, Meredith (Bob), Bart and Brandon.

From a young age, Bob's family vacations ignited a lifelong love for travel. This early start laid the foundation for a life filled with exploration and discovery, culminating in a deep fondness for cruises, the beach and even some big city adventures.

Bob was a down-to-earth guy who found joy in the simple things in life, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. Known to all as "Burger Bob," he had a tradition of always ordering a burger wherever he went to eat, a sign of his easygoing and predictable nature. He had a real love for the thrill of casinos and the excitement of lottery tickets, often heading to places like Las Vegas to soak in the fun and take a chance at striking it big. A little closer to home, a family game night of Dominos or Yahtzee gave him both the enjoyment of playing and spending time with those he loved.

Bob shared a wonderful life with his partner, Shirley. Their relationship was built on a love for exploring and having a good time together. They were always up for an adventure, whether it was hitting the road for a spontaneous trip or just hanging out at their favorite local spots. Together, they created a life full of shared experiences and cherished memories, always finding joy in the journey and each other's company.

Bob loved going to the Hard Rock Café with Shirley, where they’d pick up pins to add to their memories. A bit of a collector, Bob also had a big stash of T-shirts from all their trips. Each shirt was a keepsake that told a story and reminded him of the places they’d visited.

Bob and Shirley were also avid patrons of the Winking Lizard, where they enjoyed the famed beer tours. Their vast collection of beer tour jackets stands as a quirky and beloved tribute to their shared experiences and adventures together.

A fervent sports enthusiast, Bob's dedication to his teams was unwavering. He was a loyal supporter of NASCAR, the Cleveland Browns, and the Guardians/Indians. Bob traveled to numerous baseball stadiums across the Midwest region, not just to watch his favorite team but to add to his collection of tickets and team schedules, a hobby that highlighted his deep connection to the sport and his hometown pride.
