Robert C. Tittel, age 69, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on December 24, 2013. He was the son of Fredrick and Anna (nee Pentony) Tittel. He was born on September 29, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who loved his family dearly. He had great pride and love for his family, church and community. He was a Past Grand Knight at Knights of Columbus Council #4847. He worked at PSS Sales & Services/McKesson. Bob never missed working Friday night Bingo at St. Ambrose to help raise money for the church. Bob supported and was very involved with MRDD of Medina County and the Medina County Work Study Groups. He enjoyed good food and good company.
Bob will be dearly missed by his children, Rob (Robin) Tittel, Lisa (Ray) Tittel, Victoria Tittel and Brian Tittel; step children, Jen (Tom) Keider and Patti (Matt) DeCapua; grandchildren, DJ, Sydney, Angela, Maleia, Mariah, Katie, Christina, Matthew, Layna, Justin, Ivy Jane and Jenelynn; siblings, Mae Krause, Anna Pifko, Thomas Tittel, Joan Mills and Peggy Mockel.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife Karen; brothers, John and Joe Kondrup.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11:30 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Brunswick; Father Bob Wenz will be officiating, with a visitation one hour prior at 10:30 AM (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 6303 Center Road, Valley City, Ohio 44280.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Knights of Columbus, P.O. Box 634, Brunswick, Ohio 44212 or St. Ambrose Catholic Parish Building Fund, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
