Robert W. Waldeck, 101, of Hiram passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 3, 1920, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late William and Helen (nee Kaighin) Waldeck.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He retired at the age of 70 after many years of service at Swagelok Co. His career was focused on sales, and he kept his polite and professional "salesman" manner throughout his life. He volunteered at Robinson Memorial Hospital after retirement and enjoyed spending time with his dog, Barney, family, and friends (especially our dearest family friends, the entire Teeters family) He also enjoyed golfing, traveling, and reading.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Grace (nee Noble) in 1984, and his twin brother, William L. Waldeck, in 2015.
He will be missed by his loving daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Tim Rooth, along with many nieces and nephews. He was the last of his generation of Waldecks and Nobles.
Bob will be laid to rest next to his beloved Grace at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst, privately, per his wishes. Arrangements for Robert were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 8382 Center St. Garrettsville.
