ROBERT ZELEZNIK

Robert Zeleznik, age 85, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. He was born on January 13, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Anthony and Mary (Tomazic) Zeleznik.
In his more active days he loved hunting, golfing, bowling and of course he loved retirement. Robert worked as a journeyman plumber for 41 years and to this day was still a member of Local 55. He was an active Unites States Army service member in Germany from 1955-1957.
Robert was blessed to be married to his wife, Lena, for 64 years. He is survived by his five children, Donna Zeleznik, Linda (Dwayne) Fikar, Sharon (Mark) Anderson, Mike (Tippy) Zeleznik and Steve (Barb) Zeleznik; brother to Elaine (Ken) Kling and brother-in-law to Biagio (Diane) Sciano; grandfather to Matthew (Kori) Fuller, Nicole (Anthony) Lemon, Kevin (Paige) Fikar, Brian Fikar, Julianne and Sam Zeleznik; great grandfather to Caysen, Evan, Caleb, Luke and Aiden.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Please join the family for a Memorial Visitation for Robert on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, (corner of River Styx and Route 18), Medina, Ohio. Facial coverings are required. Please observe recommended social distancing guidelines. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Our Lady of Grace Church 1088 Ridge Road, Hinckley, Ohio.
