ROGER A. HOLAN

Roger A. Holan, age 87, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on January 2, 2017. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 24, 1929, to Peter and Florence Holan (nee Klein).
Roger and Janet Holan (nee Bulan) were married on June 25, 1955.
He graduated from James Ford Rhodes High School. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean conflict. He worked as an auditor for Ameritrust for many years. He enjoyed traveling, golf, bowling, and spending time with his family.
Roger will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Janet; sons, David A. and James R.; grandchildren, Andrea (Palmer), Rachel (Musser), Rebecca (Beaver), Kathleen, and Peter; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Robert.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 2-5 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256. Service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 10 AM also at the Funeral home. Interment to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, Ohio 44256 or charity of choice in memory of Roger.
