RONALD HUGH PODRACKY

Ronald Hugh Podracky, age 70, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, June 2, 2023. He was born on March 3, 1953, to the late William and Ann (nee DeMoss) Podracky in Berea.

He proudly served in the Navy and is a veteran of Vietnam. Ronald was previously a member of the truck and painter union. He was an avid flower and vegetable gardener. Ronald also enjoyed bird feeding and watching, fishing of all types, playing and hanging out with his poker friends, and music. He was known as “Roadie Ron”.

Ronald will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Eileen; children, Christopher (fiancé Bridget Helbling) and Jonathon (Mikayla); grandson, Beckett; sisters, Pam O’Hearn and Jill (Tom) Prior; nieces, Amanda (Matthew) Pasquarelli and Katie Prior; nephew, “Jack” William Prior; great uncle of Braeden, Ryder, Julia, and Josephine.

Please join the family for visitation on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd (½ mile south of route 303), Brunswick. A funeral service will be on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 11:00 am in St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1330 N Carpenter St., Brunswick. Burial will be at 12:00 pm in Hope Memorial Garden, 2447 Center Rd, Hinkley.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted by St. Judes, 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN, online at stjude.org or to the family to defer funeral expenses.
