Ronald C. Williams, age 86, of Brunswick, passed away October 30, 2016. He was born July 1, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Irvin and Ruth Williams (nee Anderson). Ron was married to the love of his life, Marilyn Irene (nee Michalske) for 63 years.
Ron proudly served his country in The United States Naval Reserves, also serving in the Army, where he was stationed in Germany during the Korean conflict. He was retired from MTD where he worked for many years as a machinist. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and the VFW Post #9520. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed bowling, golf leagues, gardening, repairing any and everyone’s cars, as well as restoring cars.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Marilyn; son, Ted (Dee Dee); daughters, Linda Stacey, Paulette Pasko, Rhonda Williams (Kocka) (Pavelschak), Renee Williams; grandchildren, Natalie Sharp, Rhett (Ginny) Stacey, Suzanne (Adam) Hutcheson, Carly Pasko (Lisa – partner), Evan Kocka, Brandon Rapier, Chad Rapier, Jared Rapier; great grandchildren, Zachary, Cameron, Olivia, Xander, Cade, Leah, Haley; and sisters-in-law, Mary Williams, and Marilyn J. Michalske.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, I.D. Williams; sisters, Joyce Manners and Arlette Stankiewicz; and brother-in-law, Donald Michalske.
Friends may join the family for visitation Wednesday, November 2, 2016, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 11 AM at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1330 North Carpenter Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212 with a visitation one hour prior from 10-11 am. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
