Rosario “Ross” Gibaldi; The world lost the most beautiful, generous, gracious, loving man August 9, 2015. Ross was born in Cleveland and also lived in Brunswick and Valley City.
Because of his love of cars, Ross worked as a mechanic since he could hold a wrench and became a Master Certified Auto Technician. Ross is remembered fondly by many in the area for owning Ross' R&R Service and Towing in Brunswick from 1972 through1999. Ross is also remembered for his meticulous restoration of classic cars and was a charter member of the Nifty Fifties Ford Club. Ross loved working on not only his cars, but on the cars of many that came to know him as a friend. After retiring, Ross was able to do what he enjoyed most, spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are Ross' wife of 55 years, Carol (Paoletta) Gibaldi, son Mark (Amy) Gibaldi, daughter Mari (Rick) Engelhart, brother Emidio "Gibbs" (Sally) Gibaldi, grandchildren Amanda, Jesse, Kristin and Marisa Hare, Sabrina, Aubrey and Daniel Gibaldi, and great-granddaughters, Adrianna and Katherine. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincenzo and brothers Dominick and Vince. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Make A Wish:

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1800 Station Rd., Valley City, Ohio. Fr. Thomas Dunphy officiating. Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, Ohio were entrusted with arrangements.
