ROSE GERZENY

Rose Gerzeny 87, of Medina passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011 at Hospice in Medina. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 25, 1923 to Bert and Mary (nee Mraz) Gerzeny. Rose was a member of Eastern Star and a lady of great faith. She retired from Parma City Schools.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Rose Kobak, Rosemary (Don) Bubna, Betty Ann Stricker (John Jr., deceased) and Walter (Joan) Kobak Jr., grandchildren; John, Robert, A.J., Tracy and Matthew, great-grandchildren; Leslie and Shane, brother; Ruben, sisters; Betty Brown, Marie Hartwig, Yolanda Manyak and Katherine Zopelt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Elmer, Ernie and Kal, sisters; Helen Frankovitz, Margaret Kovach and Goldie Molnar, and her loving son-in-law John Stricker Jr.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
