Rose Ann (née Zick) Miller of Millersburg, Ohio died in Medina, Ohio on April 4, 2020 of pancreatic cancer at age 81 (or as she claimed all her life “21 and beautiful”).
She was born July 13, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked for over 55 years, retiring as a school bus driver from West Holmes Schools with 25 years of service. She took joy in her family, and kept busy doing water aerobics, yoga, tai chi, thrifting, and building a new home at age 78.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary (Paytosh) Zick, sisters Alice Paciotti and Dorothy Reville, brothers Henry and Joseph, and daughter, Patricia Sly. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Paul Edward Miller; son Kurt of Perrysburg, OH, wife Terri, and grandsons Joshua (Emily) and Jeremy (Matt Misener); son John of Madison, OH, wife Judy, and granddaughters Erin and Gretchen (Brock Shull); son Paul Jr. of Medina, OH, wife Jackie, and grandchildren Mitch, Kelsey, Abbey, Adam, and Nicholas and Christina Stallard; daughter Rebecca of Birmingham, AL, husband Joshua Rutsky, and grandchildren Isaac and Lilah Kate; son-in-law Robert Sly and grandchildren John (Megan), Lauren (Matthew Jeffries), Allison, Robert, and Jack. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren Myla and Easton Miller; Carter, Owen, and Brynn Rose Jeffries; and Olivia and John Sly.
A private life celebration will take place in Millersburg, OH, with a memorial to her life to be held at a future date (To Be Determined) given the inability to currently hold large gatherings due to Covid-19.
