ROY ELLIOT BOULTON, JR.

Roy Elliot Boulton, Jr, age 76 of Cleveland, passed away on September 26, 2024.

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Roy and Helen (Kovach) Boulton. Roy was the oldest of six siblings. He was a constant source of pride for his parents, and a role model and mentor for his siblings. Roy graduated from Brunswick High School in 1966 as Salutatorian of his class. He entered the Marine Corps in October of 1968. He was a military dog trainer and was honorably discharged in 1972.

Roy dearly loved his siblings, Kenneth Lee, Dennis Paul, Katherine Jean, Jeffery Todd, and David Alan (deceased), multiple nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He loved spending time with and babysitting the youngest ones. Roy’s face lit up when the kids came to visit and loved hearing stories of their school and sporting accomplishments. 

Roy will be deeply missed. He left his mark on all who knew him. The children still cherish their time with him at the beach. We would all love to answer the phone one more time and hear, “Hello, it’s just me, checking in.”

Friends and family may come to call on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 10 a.m. Burial at Eastlawn Memory Garden to follow.
