RUDOLPH "RUDY" WILLIAM KERR

Rudolph “Rudy” William Kerr passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Rudy was born on March 6, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles and Margaret (Babitsky) Kerr.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kerr, siblings, Juanita Willis, Charles Kerr, Richard Kerr, sisters-in-law, Sheila Kerr and Marie Roland, and grandson, Todd Liddy

Rudy retired from Modern Tool and Die after over 40 years. He served in the US Navy. Rudy was an active member of the Medina VFW, served on the Honor Guard for over 20 years and was the Captain of the Honor Guard for 6 years.

Rudy will be deeply missed by his children, Dawn (Nolan) Ratliff, William (Jennifer) Kerr, T.J. (Kim) Kerr, Miki (Gene) Powell, bonus dad of Sylvia (Ken) Campbell, Dairl (Felicia) Campbell, Rick (Rhonda) Campbell, Ruby (Mark) Baker, 22 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, siblings, Jean Reinke, David Kerr, and Ethan Kerr, in-laws, Ken Roland, Paul (Linda) Weaver, Dyanne (Gary) Sustersic.

Please join the family to help celebrate Rudy’s life on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 5-8 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 3477 Medina Road, (Corner of River Styx and Route 18) Medina and on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 10-11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with full military honors.
