Russell K. Heilman age 77, resident of Lodi, passed away on, January 21, 2013 at Medina Hospital. He was born March 28, 1935 in Spencer Ohio to Paul and Freeda (nee Allen) Heilman.
Russell and Patricia (nee Lance) were married on July 12, 1978. He was employed as a Machinist at Spencer Mfg. Russell enjoyed woodworking, also working on cars and was a great supervisor.
His family will miss him dearly, they are his beloved wife, children; Darrell Kristoff, Lonnie McKenzie, David (Candy) McKenzie, Keith Heilman, Cindy Mallery, Deborah House, Laura(Thomas) Whitt, 18 grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild, brothers; Gerald (Freida), Butch (Joanne), Jerry (Mary), Bobby (Jo), Burt (Jane), sisters; Barbara Borman and Susan Schaad.
Preceding Russell in death were his parents, brother William, sister Eileen Rogers and son Eugene.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Home s & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Road (Rt. 18 & River Styx Rd.) Medina, Ohio 44256. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11 AM also at the funeral home. Pastor Ed Nichols of Rittman Life Tabernacle will officiate. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
