RUTH M. BEAM

Ruth M. Beam, 82 of Brunswick, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Elmcroft of Medina. She was born August 17, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph J. and Francis A. (nee Zidnak) Ludwig.

She was a telephone operator for Holiday Inn, a member of St. Ambrose Parish, an avid ballroom dancer, and she enjoyed bowling. She was terrifically lucky at bingo and she went to all the Churches around to play. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Beam is survived by her children Franklin J. (Deborah) Beam, Susan R. (Charles) Joy, and James R. Beam; brother Joseph G. Ludwig; grandchildren Kirk Beam, Jason Beam, Pamela Isheim, Jody Beam, Steven Joy, Laura Beam, and Justin Beam; 7 great-grandchildren; and her pet dog Molly who was her love.

She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin H. Beam, parents, and sister Marie Gibson.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, April 2, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
