Ruth Keneda 69, of Medina passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Hospice of Medina County at the Inn. She was born May 6, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio to Rudolph and Elizabeth (nee Churney) Cigahn.
Ruth and Alvin were married in 1962 and raised two daughters. Ruth was a dedicated Registered Nurse with Lutheran Hospital Medical Center for 34 Years. She enjoyed being involved with dealing in antiques and sharing time with her family.
Mrs. Keneda is survived by her husband Alvin, daughters Laura Oleson (husband Steve) of Bath Twp, Alice Manners (husband Bruce) of Houston, TX., grandchildren Madeline, Mark and Mitch Oleson, brother, Rudy Cigahn of Olmstead Falls, sisters Esther Gentile (husband Joseph) of Brookpark, Karen Whiteley of N. Olmstead, Carla Haskell (husband Paul) of Sonoma, CA and many nieces and nephews, brother Arnold Cigahn (wife Sue) of Sharon.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 1 to 3 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Funeral service to follow at 3 PM also at the funeral home. Fr. Robert Lorkowski officiating. Burial, Granger Fairview Cemetery.
