Ruth K. Swaney-Wallace, age 82 of Copley, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015.
She was born on July 20, 1933 to Emil and Matilda (nee Krantz) Kotnik.
Ruth was employed in her earlier years as a secretary and enjoyed playing cards, traveling, movies, boating and the Cleveland Indians. Ruth was known to her friends as their “favorite”.
She will be dearly missed by her children; Mark Swaney, Jeff Swaney, David (Eileen) Swaney, and Paula (Patrick) Garro, grandchildren; Logan and Lauren Gresock and Sara Swaney, also her siblings; Helen Teree, Emil Kotnik, Chuck (Barb) Kotnik and Lynn (Tom) Vargo.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband John L. Wallace and daughter Gail Swaney-Bradley.
In honoring her wishes; Cremation was requested. All Services are private. Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, Ohio 44256 were entrusted with her wishes.
