SCOTT WILLIAM MOORE

Scott William Moore, age 30 of Medina, passed away suddenly on September 14, 2017. He was born on June 10, 1987 to Patrick Moore and Karen (nee Minch).

Scott was a United States Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class, E4 for 4 years. He received numerous service medals. He also achieved expert 9mm pistol status, which furthered his passion for firearms and training youth in gun safety. Scott found comfort with his faithful companion, his dog, Sir Francis Esquire, MD.

He will be dearly missed by his parents, Patrick Moore and Karen; brother, Brian; sister, Ashley, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents; Walter and Dolores (nee DeChant) Moore and Daniel and Ina (Tomblin) Minch; and cousin, Gregory Warren, fellow Navy Veteran.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 18, 2017 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256. Funeral Service at 11 AM will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 also at the funeral home. Fr. Stephen Dohner officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.
