SETH CHARLES EDWARD "CHUCK" HOFER III

Seth Charles Edward “Chuck” Hofer III passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015. We have lost our beloved Chuck, but now he has been set free to soar away from the bonds of disease that kept him tied down. He was born in Medina, Ohio to Seth and Shirley (nee Chapman) Hofer. He was welcomed home by his beloved sister, Darla.

Chuck will be dearly missed by his aunts, Karen (Michael) Carlson, Bonnie Chapman, Sharon Butler, Judy Johnston; uncle, Sherman (Jean) Dotson; and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Hofer and Seth Hofer Jr.; sister, Darla Hofer; and uncle, Gary Dotson.

He was a graduate of Valley Forge High School and a most ardent sports fan. He loved movies and music and was just a great guy. May he be in peace and surrounded by God’s love forever.

We would like to thank Willowood Care Center for all the kindness and care they have shown over the years. We thank the Brunswick Kingdom Hall’s brothers and sisters for their friendship and spiritual guidance. We also thank the Cleveland Clinic Hospice and mostly Debbie Paradise, his nurse, who was always there for him.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 5 to 7 pm with a Funeral Service following at 7:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212.
